These
pages outline the current development of Dafel: Bloodline
for the Classic Amiga range, and our future aspirations
for the project. Where we can we have included screen shots
to show you some examples of current work in progress. We
will regularly update these pages to keep you informed on
progress.
We
admit the project is long in coming with no firm release
date set. Bloodline has become a huge project with over
12 people working on it, mainly for the vast array of graphical
elements required for the project. We are now comfortable
to say that a release of this project, in whatever form
it may take, is not far away. We have said this before,
but confidence is our guide this time...
More
titles are being released by Pagan Games for high-end Amigas
and NG that are yet to be announced, developed by other
teams within our 28 strong group, which we know will thrill
all of you.
But
Bloodline is different. We have had the opportunity in the
past to release a cut-down version of the game, to define
cut down more clearly, a reduction of levels and a reduction
of characters and plots, not of actual quality of work.
We've preferred to wait, even through the ever decreasing
Classic market and rampant piracy that makes profits from
sales a diminishing twinkle in our eyes.
As
in all RPG's, adventure is the key, and part of that adventure
is exploring another world large enough to contain your
and our own imaginations. That is what most of the development
time is based, in creating the psychical material for that
imaginary world. As with anything, it must end, and we know
where that end is...
